Harold Spicer was an award-winning photographer for the Baltimore News Post from 1939 to 1972. He was renowned for his action news photos. His talents extended into his personal love of steam locomotives. Sixty years ago, he captured in action the steam trains of the B&O, New York Central, Pennsylvania Railroad and Western Maryland. His cameras included the Graflex and Speedgraphic in the 4x5 format, considered state-of-the-art for the time, producing high-resolution negatives. Photos ship as 8x10 glossy prints and are securely packed.
