Resolution: 720x540 @ 72 dpi (minimally 640x480).
Adobe Illustrator: AI files do not embed fonts, so all text must
be converted to outlines before saving as EPS.
Adobe Photoshop: PSD files do not embed fonts, so rasterize text
layers, maintain separate layers for separate elements for maximum
flexibility.
Image Formats: BMP, TIF, TGA, PSD, EPS, AI, GIF and JPG (use low
compression for highest quality).
Video Formats: AVI, MPEG-1, MPEG-2, DV, MiniDV, QuickTime (Mac
movies flattened). 720x540, 720x480, 720x486 and 640x480 @ 30 or 29.97 fps.
Audio Formats: WAV, AIF & MP3.
Flash Movies: Resolution 720x540 or 640x 480 @ 30 fps, save as a SWF file (not as a projector).
Text Documents: MS Word (not MS Works), Adobe Acrobat, (not QuarkXPress, instead save as EPS).
PowerPoint: Leave a 15% margin known as Title Safe. Small fonts readable on a computer screen will be illegible on a TV screen.
Keep those fonts large.
